Small, portable and robust, the M1 Shruti Box is hand made using materials chosen for their acoustic qualities. The body is pine wood, the reedboard is teak wood, the high grade metal reeds are bronze and brass. Two different tunings are available, each with a one octave, thirteen note, chromatic scale based on A440 concert pitch.
M1 C: one octave range from middle C. Features brass reeds for a sweet, warm and rounded tone with subtle harmonics. The M1 C is higher in pitch than the Low G.

M1 Low G: one octave range from G. Features bronze reeds chosen to provide more clarity, depth and richness to the sound in the lower register of G.
