Shipping & returns

Shipping

We ship world wide, door to door, using couriers DHL or UPS. We like their fast, reliable and fully tracked service. In some remote locations we may have cause to use a different service.

We take great care in preparing and packaging our instruments for shipping. Instruments are shipped in reinforced cardboard boxes for optimum protection.

Delivery prices are calculated in the shopping cart, however here are a few examples to give you an idea:

UK mainland from £25
EU from £55
USA and rest of world from £75

When you place a pre-order on  our website you will receive an order confirmation. We do not accept payment in advance. We will contact you with a payment request when your order is ready to ship (as specified on the purchase page).

Orders within mainland Great Britain are delivered within 2 working days from dispatch. Shipping to EU countries is currently 3-5 working days. Shipping to the USA takes between 3 – 5 working days. For all other destinations allow 5 – 10 working days.

Over the years the demand for our instruments has grown. As a result, we sometimes sell out of a particular model or key. While we routinely update the stock availability of each item on the purchase page, we cannot always account for stock so quickly at busy periods. Should you make a purchase and receive a shipping notification which significantly differs from the one publicised at point of sale, then please contact us to arrange a satisfactory conclusion.

All UK sales include 20% VAT. All exports exclude VAT.

Orders shipped from the UK to the US, EU and other countries may be subject to import duties and tariffs. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

The amount payable depends on the type and value of the goods and the destination country’s current import regulations. Any applicable charges are normally collected by the carrier or customs authorities before or upon delivery.

We have no control over these charges and they are not included in our shipping costs.

Availability of stock

We make a limited number of instruments per year and the demand from customers is increasing all the time. If at point of sale you find out that we are out of stock, you can still proceed with the purchase and pre-order your Shruti Box of choice, subject to the specified estimated waiting time. We will keep you updated by email as to the status of your order and when it is ready we will send you a payment request.

Returns

If you need to return your instrument or pedal for any reason, please read on and follow the instructions in the PDF below. We will not repair, exchange or offer a refund on items covered by our Satisfaction Guarantee, or 12 Months Warranty which are returned and consequently damaged in transit due to insecure packaging. Any item returned under our 7 day satisfaction guarantee, will be shipped at your expense unless (i) you received the instrument in a damaged condition or (ii) it is found to be faulty within two weeks of receipt due to workmanship or defective parts, then we will cover the shipping costs. Items requested by us to be returned as part of our 12 months parts and labour warranty are shipped at your expense and returned at our expense.
